Hannah Taylor for River Island - in stores now!

Back in October was the press launch for the collection I designed for River Island. It was really exciting to see the garments at last in the flesh, which are currently on sale in all River Island top-stores in the UK, and it can also be found in their online store.

Initially it was going to be just a menswear collection, however its appeal to the tastes of both River Island's male and female customers means the range can be found on both the Menswear and Womenswear floors in the store.

Within the range is the 'Tommy the Turkey' sweater:

The colourful intarisa 'Victor' Cardigan:

The flying duck scarves, 'George' and 'Mildred' (named after my pet ones of course!)

and hats and balaclava's - 'modelled' below by Danny & Donny

I'd appreciate any feedback on the range, and feel free to send any pictures of you wearing it if you've managed to hunt it down! It was fantastic working with the design team and I'm already really looking forward to working on a small collection of ideas for spring-summer within the new year.

I love these! I'm trying to decide on the cardigan or turkey jumper... I blogged about you here - http://somethingswedid.wordpress.com/2009/12/04/its-barry-bitch/. I've been a fan since I first saw your guinea pig jumper.

Look forward to seeing more,

Susie

Wow! I found you through Julia Pott's blog. You could put these jumpers in glass cases and tour the country with them! They're so brilliant!

I'm particularly besotted with the giant baubles...there are too few baubles floating around today. Imagine the joy you've brought to someone who happens to be walking behind someone wearing one of your hats! Dancing bauble up ahead! Brilliant! I'm gonna get me to the shops to try them on.

It took me almost 5 hours to track down who you are, finally! I'm Hanna from Seoul, South Korea. I was casually surfing Korean web sites today which sell British high-street clothings(top shop, river island, fcuk, etc.), as none of them are officially launched in here yet. Then I saw your 'victor' cardigan and begun searching every possible sites to get it...and I failed. I spent nearly 4 hours and every site I visited, the cardigan was sold out. I guess I was too late. Well, I just want to tell you how much I love the colour palette you use for the fantastic knits...and by any chance, do you know any online store that still carry that cardigan? Plz plz plz let me know. And do count me as your biggest fan from Seoul. :)

Hanna

P.S. I somehow managed to buy 'George' muffler. Yes!!!
